NEET-UG Exam dates 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET (UG) 2022 examination on Sunday, 17 July 2022 in pen & paper mode. The examination will serve as a uniform entrance examination for MBBS admission and other stream like BDS/ BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS/ BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses.

NEET-UG 2023 Cut Off

The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Itanagar is responsible for conducting State counseling for allocation of 85% of MBBS Seats in Govt and Private Medical College under State Quota. However, MCC is the governing body for filling rest 15 % seats through All India Quota seats in Govt Medical College and 100% Seats in Deemed University. Arunachal Pradesh NEET-UG Counselling 2023 dates

Seat allocation is being done in multiple phases both in All India counseling and State counseling of Arunachal Pradesh. This is because, many seats become vacant due to withdrawal of seats by the students for not getting college of their choice, not able to arrange the funds for fees, Lack of proof of their category under which they applied etc. Once the dates for reporting to the college/ Fee deposits/Submitting documents is passed all such seats made available for the next rounds. Eligibility for Arunachal Pradesh NEET-UG 2023 Counselling

Below are the criteria of eligibility of a candidate to get Arunachal Pradesh MBBS Admission to the medical college

• Admission to the MBBS course within the respective categories should be granted on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in NEET UG exam
• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age by the 31st December of the year he/she is applying for admission in
• The candidate must be a citizen of India
• The candidate should have passed 12th standard with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in case he/she is from an unreserved category and 40% if he/she is from a reserved category
• In case of handicap candidates, the minimum mark is 45%
• If the candidate is an NRI, he/she must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed in the brochure.

How to Register for Arunachal Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2023

The first step to the Arunachal Pradesh MBBS admission process of application is that the applicant must be prepared with the essential documents. RESERVATION POLICY

The Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences – the only medical college in Arunachal Pradesh that offers MBBS course – has certain provisions related to the distribution of Arunachal Pradesh MBBS seats offered per year. There are total of 50 Arunachal Pradesh MBBS seats. Of these 50 Arunachal Pradesh MBBS seats, 15% i.e. 8 seats are for candidates with All India Quota. The rest of the 85% of the seats belong to State Quota as per government of Arunachal Pradesh.

The Arunachal Pradesh MBBS seats reserved under the State Quota are categorized into Andhra Pradesh ST (APST) candidates and Non-Andhra Pradesh ST (Non-APST) candidates. The APST candidates account for 80% of reserved seats while Non-APST candidates account for the rest of the seats i.e. 20%. NRIs have 2 seats. Person with benchmark disabilities have 5% of the State Quota seats
