There are 20 medical colleges in Bihar which offer MBBS education. Bihar has recently added 3 new medical colleges in Bihar in the year 2023 alone. One, Employees' State Insurance Corporation Medical College, Patna, Radha Devi Jageshwar Memorial Medical College and Hospital, Shree Narayan Medical Institute and Hospital, Bihar has a total of 2023 MBBS seats 2,565 Bihar MBBS admission will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate in NEET UG exam. The counseling authority for Bihar MBBS admission is BCECEB which expands to Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. These total medical colleges in Bihar are divided into 12 government medical colleges and 8 private medical colleges in Bihar. The total number of MBBS seats offered by 2023 government medical colleges in Bihar are 1515 and the total number of seats offered by private medical colleges in Bihar are 1050. In Bihar, most of the colleges have 10-25 years of experience, very few colleges established in last 5 to 10 years. NEET-UG 2023 Cut Off

The counseling procedure shall take place in online mode. Only those candidates whose names are included in the Bihar NEET merit list 2023 will be eligible to attend the Bihar MBBS counseling. While attending the Bihar MBBS counseling, the candidates will be expected to fill their preferences of Bihar medical colleges by means of the UGMAC ID and password they have obtained during the registration process for Bihar MBBS counseling. After taking into account several factors such as choice filled by the candidate, total MBBS seats in Bihar 2023, state merit position (if applicable), reservation (if applicable); the candidates will be finally allotted the MBBS seats in Bihar.

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Bihar is responsible for conducting State counseling for the allocation of 85% of MBBS Seats in Govt and Private Medical colleges under State Quota. However, MCC is the governing body for filling the rest 15 % seats through All India Quota seats in Govt Medical College and 100% Seats in Deemed University. Bihar NEET-UG Counselling 2023 dates

Seat allocation is being done in multiple phases both in All India counseling and State counseling of Bihar. This is because, many seats become vacant due to withdrawal of seats by the students for not getting the college of their choice, not being able to arrange the funds for fees, Lack of proof of their category under which they applied, etc. Once the dates for reporting to the college/ Fee deposits/Submitting documents are passed all such seats are made available for the next rounds. Eligibility for Bihar NEET-UG 2023 Counselling

To fulfill the eligibility criteria, the candidate must

• Be a citizen of India
• Have completed 17 years of age by the 31st December of the year he/she is applying for admission in
• His/her parents are citizens of India
• His/her parents are refugees in the state of Bihar
• One of his/her parents may not be a permanent resident of the state but employed by the government of Bihar
• His/her parents are working in transferable jobs in the states of Bihar and Jharkhand
• His/her parents are employed by Public Sector Undertakings of the Government of India
• His/her parents are employed by the United Nations and posted in Bihar
• Have passed 12th standard with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in case he/she is from an unreserved category and 40% if he/she is from a reserved category
• Qualify the NEET UG Exam as well as clear the Bihar MBBS cut-off 2023.

How to Register for Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2023

The candidates eligible for Bihar MBBS admission shall fill the application form for total MBBS seats in Bihar. The Bihar MBBS counseling application form will be released on the official website of BCECEB (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board). The procedure will commence with the candidates registering themselves through their E-mail ID and mobile number. The candidates will then receive UGMAC registration ID on the E-mail ID and mobile number provided during registration. Through this ID, the candidates are enabled to log in to the website and proceed with the application process. Moreover, candidates have to pay a certain amount that goes towards application form fees. This payment can be made either offline through E-Challan or online through debit cards, credit cards or net banking. The details of the amount to be paid are available under the ‘APPLICATION FEE’ section.

Afterward, the candidates must supply information that incorporates a candidate’s personal details, academic details, NEET UG details, contact details, etc. After filling in the essential information and fulfilling the prerequisites, the candidates have successfully registered themselves for the Bihar MBBS counseling.

The candidates are advised to print a couple or more copies of the filled admission form. These can be utilized at the time of the counseling process as well as the admission process.
