NEET-UG 2023 Cut Off

The MCC conducts centralized Himachal Pradesh MBBS counseling on the basis of NEET marks. The state quota applicants will participate in HP University led HP MBBS counseling 2023.

The Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla is responsible for conducting State counseling for allocation of 85% of MBBS Seats in Govt and Private Medical College under State Quota. However, MCC is the governing body for filling rest 15 % seats through All India Quota seats in Govt Medical College and 100% Seats in Deemed University. Those who qualified NEET are eligible to apply in both the counseling processes.

Himachal Pradesh NEET-UG Counselling 2023 dates

Seat allocation is being done in multiple phases both in All India counseling and State counseling of Himachal Pradesh. This is because, many seats become vacant due to withdrawal of seats by the students for not getting college of their choice, not able to arrange the funds for fees, Lack of proof of their category under which they applied etc. Once the dates for reporting to the college/ Fee deposits/Submitting documents is passed all such seats made available for the next rounds. Eligibility for Himachal Pradesh NEET-UG 2023 Counselling

The candidate…

• Must have qualified the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test
• Must be a citizen of India
• Must have completed 17 years of age by 31st December of the year he’s applying for MBBS admission in Himachal Pradesh
• Must have passed 12th Standard exams with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and have secured minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in case he/she is from unreserved category, and minimum 40% marks if he/she hails from a reserved category.
• The candidate must fulfill the eligibility criteria to apply with a State Quota.
• He/she must be a bona fide of Himachal Pradesh
• He/she must have completed 10th as well as 12th standard from any recognized board in Himachal Pradesh
• Those candidates who are bona fide resident of Himachal Pradesh and whose parents are employed outside of the state in course of any All India Services are eligible to seek admission through State Quota

How to Register for Himachal Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2023

The first thing applicants must do is Himachal Pradesh MBBS Admission registration via MCC or HPU application (subject to the Quota with which the candidate is applying). Either way, the candidates must complete the registration by providing the personal details, contact details, program they’re applying for and other essential details.

The next step is to fill the Himachal Pradesh MBBS admission application form and enter academic details such as the score obtained in NEET UG, percentage in 10th and 12th standard. After doing so, the candidates must further into the Himachal Pradesh MBBS admission process and upload documents pertinent to the Himachal Pradesh MBBS admission application process. The documents need to be uploaded can be found in the ‘DOCUMENTS REQUIRED’ section ahead. The last step to complete the application process is to pay the requisite amount that goes towards application cum counseling fee. RESERVATION POLICY

The MBBS colleges in Himachal Pradesh include both government colleges and private colleges. The reservation policy for government medical colleges differs from that of private medical college in Himachal Pradesh. The former maintains a seat ratio of 85:15 for state quota students and All India quota students respectively.
