Overview

There are 4 Manipur medical colleges offering a total of 525 Manipur MBBS seats in 2023. There are three government medical college and one private medical colleges in Manipur. Candidates will be granted admission to MBBS in Manipur through the scores obtained by them in NEET. Both the colleges also have the facilities for pursuing postgraduate studies and thus offer collectively 200 seats in MD/MS programs in various specialties.

NEET-UG Exam dates 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET (UG) 2022 examination on Sunday, 17 July 2022 in pen & paper mode. The examination will serve as a uniform entrance examination for MBBS admission and other stream like BDS/ BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS/ BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses.

NEET-UG 2023 Cut Off

The Directorate of Health Services, Mizoram is responsible for conducting State counseling for allocation of 85% of MBBS Seats in Govt and Private Medical College under State Quota. However, MCC is the governing body for filling rest 15 % seats through All India Quota seats in Govt Medical College and 100% Seats in Deemed University. Those who qualified NEET are eligible to apply in both the counseling processes.

Manipur  NEET-UG Counselling 2023 dates

Seat allocation is being done in multiple phases both in All India counseling and State counseling of Manipur. This is because, many seats become vacant due to withdrawal of seats by the students for not getting college of their choice, not able to arrange the funds for fees, Lack of proof of their category under which they applied etc. Once the dates for reporting to the college/ Fee deposits/Submitting documents is passed all such seats made available for the next rounds. Eligibility for Mizoram NEET-UG 2023 Counselling

The eligibility criteria to qualify for Manipur MBBS admission 2023 is illustrated below

• The applicant so applying for MBBS in Manipur must be a citizen of India.
• The applicant must have reached 17 years of age by 31st December of the year in which he/she is applying for admission.
• The applicant must have passed 12th standard with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in case he/she is from an unreserved caste and 40% if he/she is from a reserved caste.
• The applicant must be a bona fide resident of Manipur
• Applicants must qualify the NEET UG Exam as well as clear the Manipur medical college NEET cut off.

How to Register for Mizoram  NEET UG Counselling 2023

The Manipur MBBS admission portal i.e. Directorate of Health Sciences (DHS), Manipur releases the Manipur MBBS admission application form for MBBS in Manipur. The aspiring candidates must prescribe by the Manipur MBBS admission registration process to get admission to MBBS in Manipur. First, the applicants must purchase the form of application from the DHS, Manipur located in Lamphelpat, Imphal. Afterwards, the applicants must fill the required info in the form and submit it before the prescribed deadline for submission. Applicants must take due consideration in filling the Manipur MBBS admission application form and ensure the information provided is correct or otherwise, the application form may face rejection. After filling the details, the applicants shall submit the application form along with relevant documents to DHS, Manipur. The institution would issue an acknowledgement after receiving the applicant’s form. It is advised that applicants must keep a Xerox of the filled form with themselves.
