Overview
There is one medical college in Mizoram teaching MBBS: The Zoram Medical College. It is a government medical college in Mizoram and was established in 2018. The MBBS seats in Mizoram 2023 offered by the college amount to 100. Of these seats, 15 percent are allotted to students applying with All India Quota and another 15 percent exclusively for the foreign students and thus, 70 percent of seats are allotted to Mizoram MBBS Quota. Unfortunately, there is no scope for postgraduate studies or super specialty studies in Mizoram.

NEET-UG Exam dates 2023
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET (UG) 2022 examination on Sunday, 17 July 2022 in pen & paper mode. The examination will serve as a uniform entrance examination for MBBS admission and other stream like BDS/ BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS/ BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses.

NEET-UG 2023 Cut Off
The Department of Higher & Technical Education, Mizoram is responsible for conducting State counseling for allocation of 85% of MBBS Seats in Govt and Private Medical College under State Quota. However, MCC is the governing body for filling rest 15 % seats through All India Quota seats in Govt Medical College and 100% Seats in Deemed University. Those who qualified NEET are eligible to apply in both the counseling processes.

Mizoram NEET-UG Counselling 2023 dates
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of India and Technical Wing of the Department of Higher and Technical Education (H&TE), Mizoram will allot Mizoram MBBS seats at Zoram Medical College to the aspiring students. In this COVID stricken times, the counseling procedure is most likely to be held online. Students can register themselves for the Mizoram NEET counseling 2023 at the official website of H&TE Department of Mizoram. The counseling will be conducted in 2 rounds. Eligibility for Mizoram NEET-UG 2023 Counselling
The eligibility criteria to qualify for Mizoram MBBS admission 2023 is illustrated below
- The applicant so applying for MBBS in Mizoram must be a citizen of India.
- The applicant must have reached 17 years of age by 31st December of the year in which he/she is applying for admission.
- The applicant must have passed 12th standard with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in case he/she is from an unreserved caste and 40% if he/she is from a reserved caste.
- The applicant must be a bona fide resident of Mizoram
- Applicants must qualify the NEET UG Exam as well as clear the Mizoram medical college cut off.
How to Register for Mizoram NEET UG Counselling 2023
The application process begins with online application for admission and payment of the college fee including the hostel fee. After filling your details in the Mizoram MBBS admission form, the candidate is to upload their photograph (passport sized with white background), a blank paper with the candidate’s signature, receipt of the payment of college fee, etc. The Mizoram MBBS admission list of documents is available in the ‘Documents Required’ section of the page. After filling the Mizoram MBBS admission form, uploading necessary documents and paying the admission fee, the candidate has successfully applied to Mizoram MBBS Admission 2023. The candidate shall also keep download the confirmation page and have a hardcopy of it for future reference.

RESERVATION POLICY
Out of the total MBBS seats in Mizoram Medical College amounting to 100, 15 percent are allotted to students applying with All India Quota and another 15 percent exclusively for the foreign students. Rest of the 70% of seats are allotted to Mizoram MBBS Quota distributed in three categories i.e. category I (95%), category II (4%) and category III (1%).

NMC already notified the introduction of the NEXT Exam in India from 2023. This exam will replace all Medical PG exams in India. The exam will be conducted in two parts NEXT-1 and NEXT-2. In short, an IMG's performance in PLAB determines her eligibility to practice in the UK.The PLAB test has two stages. PLAB 1 is an exam that has 180 MCQs that tests your recall. On the other hand, PLAB 2 is a practical OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Exam) that tests your clinical skills.
