Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) was established in 2006. AIMS is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and affiliated with the Madhya Pradesh Medical Sciences University, Jabalpur. Amaltas college is associated with Amaltas Hospital. The hospital aims at serving society by providing the best possible medical treatment delivered most efficiently in the shortest possible time.

The Amaltas institute of medical sciences has three other institute branches also, including:

  • 1. Candidates seeking admission to Amaltas institute of medical sciences have to qualify for the NEET exam.
  • 2. The college has an intake capacity of 150 students for the UG MBBS course.

Admission procedure

  • 1. Candidates should qualify the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
  • 2. Further, the candidates have to register for the counselling process and choose the Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences as their preference.
  • 3. Admission will be offered to the candidates on the basis of the marks scored in an entrance examination, seat allotment, document verification, and fee payment.

MBBS fee structure

Annual tuition fee of MBBS course for an academic session is Rs.10,61,000 + Caution Money of Rs. 25,000.

Scholarship Program

The college offers various scholarships, including Merit cum means-based scholarships to eligible candidates under Medhavi Yojna, Jankalyan yojna, and the reserved category candidates, i.e., SC, ST, and OBC.

Economically weaker sections(EWS) students can also apply for a scholarship from the central/state government.
