About College

Chirayu Medical College & Hospital (CMCH), a higher education institute, was established in 2010 with NABL and NABH accreditation. The college is affiliated with Barkatullah University and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Later, in 2012, the medical college opened Chirayu College of Nursing and Chirayu College of Paramedical Education. Currently, the college is offering UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate courses in its curriculum.

The college has also established an ISO-certified Hospital with 800 beds. The college and hospital are spread across 25.65 acres of area. The college has a ground and five-storied building, and the hospital has a ground and five-storied building on the unitary campus.

CMCH infrastructure is well-planned, ultramodern medical educational complex houses, Multi-Specialty Teaching Hospital, and hostels for boys and girls with excellent facilities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum qualification: Those who are willing to take admission to CMCH Bhopal need to pass out 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually with a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST & 45% marks OBC Category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
  • Age Criteria: Candidates must possess a minimum of 17 years or above as of 31st December of the year of admission.
  • Entrance exam: The student must have qualified for the NEET exam.

Admission procedure

  • Check the eligibility criteria, i.e. 12th or equivalent examination clearance (PCB – 50% with mandatory English subject).

Scholarship Program

The college offers a variety of scholarships and financial aid options, which makes it affordable for students from all backgrounds. The eligible candidates/ reserved category candidates, i.e., SC, ST, and OBC, can get scholarships under Medhavi Yojna and Jankalyan yojna. However, NRI students are not eligible for any scholarship benefits.

The candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from a recognized Board/Council. and must be NEET Qualified to take admission to CMCH.

The total duration of the MBBS course is 5.5 years, which includes 4.5 years of academic qualification and 1 year of rotatory internship for practical exposure.

The college has permission from NMC to grant admission to 150 students for the MBBS course.
