The Deccan College of Medical Sciences (DCMS) is one of the oldest medical colleges in Telangana. DCMS is recognised by the Medical Council of India and Affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal. The college is governed by the Darus-Salam Educational Trust.

Course duration:
MBBS course at the Deccan College of Medical Sciences includes a period of study extending over 4½ (Four & a half) academic years followed by 1 (one) year compulsory rotating Internship.Seat intake:
Deccan College of Medical Sciences annual Intake is 150, and the seat matrix is as follows:- Convener Quota (A-Category) – 50 %
- Management Quota (B-Category)- 35 %
- NRI Quota (C-Category) – 15 %
Admission criteria:
The seats will be allotted on Merit Basis, i.e., based on NEET Marks/NEET Ranks.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology and English. General Category (O.C.) candidates should obtain at least 50% (for BC/ST/SC 40%) marks in science subjects.Age:
The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as of December for admission into MBBS Course.Entrance exam:
The candidate should qualify for NEET Examinations with a 50 percentile for the General category, 40 percentile for BC/SC/ST and 45 percentile for persons with Disability (OC-PH).

Admission procedure
Step 1: Eligible and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) qualified candidates should submit the admission application (available on the college website).
Step 2: The candidates whose names appear in the NEET merit list are only eligible to appear before the Selection / Counselling Board for the interview at the college.
Step 3: Shortlisted and selection of candidates in all the categories shall be subject to the verification of all the relevant certificates.
Step 4: The final list of candidates selected for admission will be displayed on the college website.
