Dmrd /dcp admission

DMRD stands for Diploma in Medical Radio-Diagnosis and it is a 2-year long postgraduate level diploma course that medical aspirants can take up after their graduation. This course is considered as a branch of medicine and covers all the basic knowledge of working MRI, X-Ray, CT Scan machines as well as allergic contrast reactions, resuscitation methods, and many more.
This course contains both theoretical study and practical workshops in all the fields of radiology.
In this course, the student can do an internship in top government and private hospitals and medical institutions.
Students must secure at least 50% marks in their MBBS Degree course final examination from a recognized college/University for pursuing this course.

Admission to the DMRD course is mostly merit-based.

MERIT-BASED

On the website of the respective college, the application process is completely online.
Applicants can register themselves through the link provided on the website.
All required documents such as mark sheets, Id proofs, Caste/Migration/Transfer certificate, etc Candidates can submit the scanned copies.
The student should pay the application fee online.
The application process is complete after the application fee has been submitted. When all applications have been completed the college will put up a merit list post. The admission fee gets confirmed when the students have their names on the merit list and pay the admission fees.

ENTRANCE-BASED

Students can apply to colleges through the Central/State counseling process and post the announcement of the results of the required entrance exam
Where students have to register themselves to be a part of the process, the official website of the Medical Council of India (MCI) uploads the link for the counseling.
For the colleges they desire to be in and have qualified for the candidates will be emailed their allotment letters.
After the payment of admission fees to the college, the admission will be confirmed.

DIPLOMA IN MEDICAL RADIO-DIAGNOSIS [DMRD] ELIGIBILITY

If the student has completed the MBBS degree course with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized University/College only then they are eligible to apply to this course.
For selection criteria, many colleges prefer entrance exam scores.
The student will have to pass the medical screening test.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THESE ENTRANCE EXAMS?

On the subjects that have been taught in the MBBS degree course, all the entrance exams contain multiple-choice questions based on it.
These exams have a marking like this: students get 4 marks for a right answer and a minus one mark for a wrong answer.
Time management students need to make a timetable and follow it.
