Previously known as NDMVP Samaj Medical College
Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College was established in 1990 and is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. MCI also recognizes the college.
Since the college’s inception, it has slowly, steadily, and continuously added various courses. Today it has 342 branches all over the district, which include pre-primary, primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools, Arts, Science, Commerce colleges, Industrial Training Institutes, Law college, and B.Ed. College.
Presently, the college is offering undergraduate MBBS programs and postgraduate courses in 15 disciplines.
Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College is also attached to the super specialty hospital that has flourished into 1000 beds with ISO 2008 certification. In 1994, the college was shifted to 54 acres campus of Adgaon and provided the following facilities to the students and its staff:

Admission procedure
Step 1: Candidates are required to register for the NEET UG exam at https://cetcell.net/UG_NEET_2021/ and qualify for the exam.
Step 2: Qualified candidates need to participate in common counselling for admission to MBBS Courses in all Medical Education Institutions, and they will be allotted seats.
Step 3: Candidates allotted seats through counselling need to visit the college with their allotment letter and get their admission confirmation letter.
Note:
- The State shall conduct the counselling for all admission to MBBS Course, and such Common Counselling shall be under the over all superintendence, direction, and control of the State.
- There will be no UG admission being done at the college level. All admission will be made by the Commissionerate Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai.
