About College

Gandhi Medical College, one of the most reputed colleges in Madhya Pradesh, was established in 1955. The Medical College was affiliated with Barkatullah University (earlier affiliated with Agra University and the Vikram University of Ujjain). The college is permitted to grant admission to 250 MBBS students for the academic year 2022-23.

The foundation of the Gandhi Medical College was laid on 15th September 1956 by Shri G.B. Pant, Home Minister of India. Later, the Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, inaugurated the building after its completion on 13th March 1963.

Currently, the medical college is offering Medical (under graduation and post-graduation), Paramedical, Nursing, and Diplomas courses
