Government Medical College, Datia, was established in 2018 as a full-fledged tertiary Medical college in Datia, Madhya Pradesh.

The college is affiliated with Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur. It is currently permitted to grant admission to 100 MBBS students for the academic year 2022-23 by MCI.

The college provides undergraduate Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) degrees with an annual capacity of 120 seats for MBBS courses. Additionally, it also offers Nursing and Para-medical courses to medical students.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum qualification:
Candidates seeking admission to GMC, Datia need to pass out 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually with a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST & 45% marks OBC Category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
Age Criteria:
Candidates must have a minimum of 17 years or above as of 31st December of the year of admission.

Admission procedure

Candidates seeking admission to the MBBS course must appear and qualify for the NEET UG exam.

A merit list will be published based on NEET scores. Eligible candidates have to participate in the counselling process for the seat allotment.

The candidates must register online at Medical department education ( for the counselling process and choose the college name during the counselling process.

After the seat allotment, the final admission will be based on the NEET UG scores, counselling process, document verification, and payment of the college fees.
