GSL Medical College & General Hospital, Rajahmundry is one of the premier private Medical Institutions, established in 2001. The college is recognized by the National Medical Council, Government of India, and affiliated with Dr. NTR University of health science Vijayawada.

GSL Medical College is established to bring Medicare of International Standards to the doorsteps of the rural poor. MBBS from GSL Medical College, Rajahmundry

  • The MBBS course duration is 4 years and 6 months as per the GSL academic calendar and 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship.
  • The college has reserved 200 seats for the MBBS students. The number of seats available is as follows:

A – Category – 50% – 100 seats

B – Category – 35% – 70 seats

C – Category – 15% – 30 seats

Note: The number and distribution of seats may vary depending upon the decisions of competent authorities.

Eligibility criteria

  • The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examinations in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/ Biotechnology, and English.
  • Candidates must have obtained 50% marks in science subjects (In the case of BC/SC/ST, candidates should obtain at least 40% marks in science subjects, and OC- PH candidates should obtain at least 45% marks in science subjects).
  • The candidate should have completed 17 years in the month of December (the year in which you are taking admission).

Note: The Non-local candidates are eligible for 15% of Unreserved seats only. The Local candidates are eligible for both 15% unreserved seats and 85% local area seats.

Admission procedure

There are 4 steps to Registering for the UG admission program, i.e.,

  1. Mobile and Email Registration,
  2. Payment of fee,
  3. Updating of data, and
  4. Uploading of Certificates.

The candidates who secured the cut-off marks or more in the NEET-UG exam must submit their online application by paying the non-refundable application and processing fee and uploading the scanned required documents required for competent authority quota seats.

After that, the candidates have to download the allotment order from the website.
