Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital, Rourkela (HMCHR), was founded in 2012 to provide the best medical training in the country. The medical college is affiliated with Sambalpur University and was recognized for 100 seats after May 2017 by NMC.

HMCHR has an inbuilt hospital with 400 Teaching beds that offers practical training to the students during their internship, making learning complete and comprehensive. Further, the campus comprises a hospital, medical college, school of nursing, and a separate hostel for boys and girls.
