Index Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Indore, was established by the Mayank Welfare Society (a charitable society) in 2006. After that, in 2007, the medical college started its first batch of MBBS with the due permission of the government and MCI.
The college is accredited by NABL and NABH. Since 2015, the college has been affiliated with Malwanchal University, Indore.
Mayank welfare society also set up a hospital to cater to rural, suburban, and urban populations with free diagnostic and treatment modalities. There is an 1100 bedded hospital associated with the medical college having a yearly intake of 250 students for graduation in medical sciences.
