Established in 2005, Konaseema Medical College is one of the top private medical colleges in Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh. The college is affiliated with Dr NTR University of Health Sciences.

Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Foundation’s objective is to address medical care and foster professional needs and impart the highest standard of education to bring out talent in the field of medicine with a solid academic base.

  • The undergraduate course MBBS is 4 and half years, followed by one year of compulsory rotatory internship. The course includes interactive clinical exposure during the internship.

Eligibility criteria

  • Aspirants should have completed 17 years of age on or before the 31st day of December of the year of admission.
  • Candidates should have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifications with Biology as their primary subject .
  • The candidate must have qualified for the NEET entrance exam.

Admission procedure

Admission procedure

  1. Appear and qualify for the NEET UG examination
  2. Register for the MCC UG Medical counselling program at their official website. The candidates who have been allotted a seat in MBBS through MCC UG Medical Counselling must complete the physical reporting formalities at Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences.
  3. Physical reporting includes submission of required documents and tuition fee payment.
  4. After verification of the documents and payment, KIMS will upload the candidate’s details to the MCC portal, and the candidate will get their final allotment letter.

MBBS fee structure

  • Convener quota (A Category): Rs. 15,000 per year
  • Management quota (B Category):  Rs. 12,00,000 per year
  • Management quota – NRI (C Category) Rs. 35,00,000 per year

Scholarship Program

Eligible students can avail of the scholarship from the government of Andhra Pradesh. As of now, the college has no direct scholarship programs.

Faq's

The college offers MBBS, MD and MS, BDS, MDS, B.Sc, M.Sc, BPT and MPT course(s) across various disciplines in Broad specialities.

The college doesn’t provide any company placements. However, students can apply for internships at KIMS&RF.

Candidates can get admission by qualifying NEET exam with merit scores only.

The college permits 150 students for the MBBS course to admit every year.
