Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research (MIMER) was established in 1995 by MAEER’S MIT Pune at Talegaon Dabhade.
The Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Education and Research (MAEER) was established as a society and trust to create and develop professional education facilities for the aspiring young generation. The institute is dedicated to producing skilled professionals to serve society and the nation.
Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research was initially affiliated with the University of Pune. Presently, it is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences Nashik and is recognized by the Medical Council of India. Further, the college is permitted to grant admission to 150 MBBS students.

Admission procedure
Step 1: Candidates are required to register for the NEET UG exam at https://cetcell.net/UG_NEET_2021/ and qualify for the exam.
Step 2: Qualified candidates need to participate in common counselling for admission to MBBS Courses in all Medical Education Institutions, and they will be allotted seats.
Step 3: Candidates allotted seats through counselling need to visit the college with their allotment letter and get their admission confirmation letter.
Note:
- The State shall conduct the counselling for all admission to MBBS Course, and such Common Counselling shall be under the over all superintendence, direction, and control of the State.
- There will be no UGUG admission being done at the college level. All admission will be made by the Commissionerate Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai.
