MGM Medical College & Hospital is a part of MGM Institute of Health Sciences (MGMIHS) Deemed to be University, Kamothe Navi Mumbai. It was established in 1990 under the leadership of Shri. Kamalkishorji Kadam, chairman MGM Trust, MGM Medical College & Hospital.
Mahatma Gandhi Mission (MGM) is a charitable trust established in 1982 in Maharashtra. The trust is registered under the Society Registration Act and Bombay Public Trusts Act. The trust’s objective is to contribute towards the fulfilment of Mahatma Gandhi’s vision, i.e., “Literacy Education is of no value if it is not able to build up sound character”.
The medical college is affiliated with MGM Institute of Health Sciences (Deemed University) and has permission to renew 150 seats for admission in 2021-2022.

Admission procedure
Step 1: Candidates are required to register for the NEET UG exam at https://cetcell.net/UG_NEET_2021/ and qualify for the exam.
Step 2: Qualified candidates need to participate in common counselling for admission to MBBS Courses in all Medical Education Institutions, and they will be allotted seats.
Step 3: Candidates allotted seats through counselling need to visit the college with their allotment letter and get their admission confirmation letter.
Note:
- The State shall conduct the counselling for all admission to MBBS Course, and such Common Counselling shall be under the overall superintendence, direction, and control of the State.
- There will be no U.G. admission being done at the college level. All admission will be made by the Commissionerate Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai.
