MGM Medical College & Hospital was established under the constitution of MGM Institute of Health Sciences (MGMIHS) Deemed to be University, Kamothe Navi Mumbai. MGM Medical College & Hospital was established in 1990 under the leadership of Shri. Kamalkishorji Kadam, chairman MGM Trust.
Mahatma Gandhi Mission (MGM) is a charitable trust. It was established in 1982 in Maharashtra and registered under the Society Registration Act and Bombay Public Trusts Act. Since its inception, the Trust is dedicated and committed towards

Minimum qualification:
- Any examination equivalent to HSC / (10+2) examination of any recognized Board/University after 12 years of study with 50% in the PCB group in the same examinations.
- For candidates belonging to Schedule Castes / Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology will be 40%.
Entrance exam:
- Appearance and qualification of the NEET are necessary for admission to the first year of the MBBS course.
Age criteria:
- The candidate’s minimum age should be 17 years of age on 31st Dec, the year in which admission is sought.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Eligible candidates must have qualified and secured minimum percentile in NEET UG.
- The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English as a compulsory subject. OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks (40% in the case of BC/SC/ST and 45% in OC PH) in science subjects.
- The candidate should have completed 17 years of age to be eligible for admission into MBBS Courses.

Admission procedure
Step 1: Candidates are required to register for the NEET UG exam at https://cetcell.net/UG_NEET_2021/ and qualify for the exam.
Step 2: Qualified candidates need to participate in common counselling for admission to MBBS Courses in all Medical Education Institutions, and they will be allotted seats.
Step 3: Candidates allotted seats through counselling need to visit the college with their allotment letter and get their admission confirmation letter.
Note:
- The State shall conduct the counselling for all admission to MBBS Course, and such Common Counselling shall be under the overall superintendence, direction, and control of the State.
- There will be no UG admission being done at the college level. All admission will be made by the Commissionerate Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai.
