Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences was established in 2012 as the first private Medical College in Uttar Pradesh to be granted permission for 150 students because of its superior infrastructure and outstanding academic facilities.

MIMS is affiliated with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. Further, the college is associated with the Mayo School of Nursing, which provides rich opportunities for students to independent study projects in the field of nursing education.

The medical institute is affiliated with Mayo hospital, which has all modern equipment and caters to all specialties. It is also recognized by MCI.

The college encourages students to go beyond academics with a wide range of games & playgrounds for sports activities. Eligibility Criteria

Minimum qualification:
Students must have passed the higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination, which is equivalent to 10+2. It should comprise physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English (not less than the core English) with a minimum of 50%.
Age:
He/she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS Course.
Entrance Exam:
The candidate must pass UP NEET-UG with the good score

Admission procedure

Step 1: Candidates are required to register for the UP NEET exam at https://upneet.gov.in

Step 2: Registered candidates have to physically visit the nodal centres for document verification and deposit the security fees.

Step 3: The candidates whose documents have been verified and whose security fee has been deposited are eligible for the choice filling.

Note: Choice filling means candidates can submit their choices of institute and program as per their preferences.

Step 4: After choice filling, the seat allotment process begins. If a seat is allotted to the candidate, then admission to the college is approved. However, if a student denies admitting to the college (in which they got the allotment), then their security money will not be refunded.
