Muzaffarnagar Medical College was established in 2006. The Fateh Chand Charitable Trust promotes the college. Trust is working for the benefit of society to provide and promote medical education and Health Care services to society.

Muzaffarnagar Medical College is approved by the Medical Council of India & Ministry of Health & Family Welfare Govt. of India. Additionally, the college is also affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. MMC is currently offering courses in Medical Science, i.e., MBBS, MD, MD, and B.Sc. nursing courses.

The college campus is spread over 25 acres of land at Muzaffarnagar for MBBS students. Further, the college has an additional 17 acres of campus. The whole campus is developed in a pollution-free and peaceful environment to ensure a healthy and academic atmosphere for the students.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification:
The candidate must have passed the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology at the qualifying examination.
Note:
For persons with locomotors disability of lower limbs, a minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required.
Age requirements:
The student has completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year in which he/she wants to take admission. The upper age limit is 25 years as of the date of examination (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC category students).

The candidate must have qualified NEET UG Exam.

Admission procedure

Step 1: Candidates are required to register for the UP NEET exam at https://upneet.gov.in

Step 2: Registered candidates have to physically visit the nodal centres for document verification and deposit the security fees.

Step 3: The candidates whose documents have been verified and whose security fee has been deposited are eligible for the choice filling.

Note: Choice filling means candidates can submit their choices of institute and program as per their preferences.

Step 4: After choice filling, the seat allotment process begins. If a seat is allotted to the candidate, then admission to the college is approved. However, if a student denies admitting to the college (in which they got the allotment), then their security money will not be refunded.

Note: Director General Medical Education, Lucknow, allots the seats through State Government Counselling as per the merit secured in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG).
