NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre was established in 1990 with a commitment to health for all. The college was earlier affiliated with Nagpur University but is now affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
The institution started with the aim to fill in the additional need for medical education in the region and deliver health services to patients in and around central India. N. K. P. Salve Institute of Medical Sciences is attached to the Lata Mangeshkar Hospital as a teaching hospital. It is an 1130 bedded fully equipped hospital.
Starting with undergraduate courses, today, the college has attained recognition for PG courses in almost all subjects, including M.Ch., Ph.D., and Fellowships in certain subjects. Besides that, the college encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities, including sports, cultural fests, debate, drama, art, and music.

Step 1: Candidates are required to register for the NEET UG exam at https://cetcell.net/UG_NEET_2021/ and qualify for the exam.
Step 2: Qualified candidates need to participate in common counselling for admission to MBBS Courses in all Medical Education Institutions, and they will be allotted seats.
Step 3: Once the student’s name appears in the declaration of the college-wise list by MHCET, the student needs to visit the college website and register for the MBBS course.

Step 5: After document verification by the Scrutiny Committee, fill in the scholarship form if applicable and pay the fees.
