Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) is a self-finance institution established in 2016 by Nimra Educational Society, a Muslim Minority Society. The college is affiliated with NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, and is approved by the national medical council.

Step 1: Appear and quality NEET exam with the merit score.
Step 2: Ensure the eligibility criteria. The eligible candidates shall apply for counselling after getting their NEET results and report to the allotted college to complete the admission procedure.
Step 3: Register with the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences for counselling by paying the required fees.
Step 4: The next step is to visit the college, fill out the admission form, and submit your educational certificates.
Step 5: After that, the college will publish a merit list containing the students’ names to join the classes and submit your fees.

Eligible students can avail scholarship from the government of Andhra Pradesh. As of now, the college has no direct scholarship programs.
The annual intake of the institute is 150 for the MBBS program.
Candidates must qualify for NEET-UG with the merit score rank. They must have met the eligibility criteria, i.e., a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects.
The college has hostel facilities separately for girls and boys at Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences, Vijayawada.
The college offers MBBS courses at the undergraduate level only.
