About College

NRI Medical College was started in 2003 by a small consortium of 30 NRI doctors from the USA with an intake of 100 students. The college is recognized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Medical Council of India. NRI is also affiliated with Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences Vijayawada.

Currently, this Medical College provides 200 MBBS seats annually and other PG, Diploma, and Super Speciality courses.

The objective of NRIAS is to promote the best in medical education & to produce doctors with global standards. The college believes in providing affordable health care to the needy people of society on a non-profit basis with the help of modern medical equipment.

The College and the Hospital are built-up areas of 12,00,000 sq. ft comprising 8 buildings.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examinations in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/ Biotechnology, and English.
  • Candidates must have obtained 50% marks in science subjects (In the case of BC/SC/ST, candidates should obtain at least 40% marks in science subjects, and OC- PH candidates should obtain at least 45% marks in science subjects).
  • The candidate should have completed 17 years in the month of December (the year in which you are taking admission).

Admission procedure

  • There are 4 steps to Registering for the UG admission program, i.e.,

    1. Mobile and Email Registration,
    2. Payment of fee,
    3. Updating of data, and
    4. Uploading of Certificates.

    The candidates who secured the cut-off marks or more in the NEET-UG exam must submit their online application by paying the non-refundable application and processing fee and uploading the scanned required documents required for competent authority quota seats.

    After that, the candidates must download the allotment order from the website.
