Course duration:
The MBBS course is a four and half year period followed by one year compulsory rotating medical internship. The 12-month internship includes rotations in Community Health, Medicine, Surgery, Child Health, Orthopedics, Emergency medicine, and various other specialties.Seat intake:
The college has intake capacity of 150 MBBS students and the admission quota of PKDIMS is as follows:- Merit Seats: 85% and
- NRI Seats: 15%.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
All Higher Secondary School students with 10+2 in science stream, including biology or biotechnology, along with Physics and Chemistry, with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible. (In the case of SC/ST, it is 40% and 45% for OBC Category).Age requirements:
17 years of age or above as on 31st December of the admission year. The maximum age limit to Study MBBS Course is 25 years.Entrance Exam:
The candidate must have qualified NEET – UG.

Admission procedure
Step 1: Candidates can visit the official portal of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, https://cee-kerala.org/, and register themselves for NEET Kerala State Counselling.
Step 2: At the time of counselling, the students must choose the courses and colleges of their preference and lock in the preferences at the online portal.
Sep 3: The seat allotment status will be published online based on the availability of vacancies and the candidate’s choices.
Step 4: If you get the seat in the first round, you will be required to either reject the allotted seat or report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.
Step 5: Those who didn’t get the seat allotment have to complete the registration process and perform Fresh Choice Filling and Locking for the second round.
