Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Course duration: “Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery” (MBBS) is divided into pre, para and clinical subjects covered in 4.5 years duration. Upon successfully completing this curriculum, each student has to undergo 1 year of compulsory rotating internship in different clinical specialities.
Seat intake: Annual Intake is 150 students for MBBS Course at Shri Ramkrishna Institute of Medical Sciences.
Admission criteria: Candidates who have qualified NEET exam are only eligible for admission to the Undergraduate Courses (MBBS) at Shri Ramkrishna Institute of Medical Sciences.
Education Qualification: The minimum requirements for the MBBS course are 50% marks in physics, chemistry, biology and English in the ’10+2′ examinations.
Age: The candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
Entrance exam: Candidates must have qualified NEET examination. Candidates in the UR category are required to score equivalent to at least 50 percentile, and for SC/ ST/ OBC, at least the 40th percentile for AIQ and state counselling.
Step 1: NEET qualification – The candidates are required to qualify for NEET and participate in WB State/Management/NRI Quota counselling, as the case may be for UG seats.
Step 2: Registration – Visit the WBMCC website https://wbmcc.nic.in and complete the registration process. Also, make payment of the non-refundable counselling fee at the time of registration.
Step 3: Choice filling and choice locking – Candidates need to submit the Quota certificate at the time of registration, and only after successful verification of such certification the candidate shall be eligible for Online Choice filling and Allotment for the seat.
Step 4: Physical document verification – Selected candidates need to report and produce the physical documents for verification at the allotted medical college.
Step 5: Admission – Seat allotment by the Software as per Inter se merit and admission at the allotted college will be provided on the website https://wbmcc.nic.in.
