About College
Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital was started in 2003 – 04 with 100 MBBS admissions per academic year. The medical college is run by Sri Lakshmi Ammal Educational Trust, and it has come under the ambit of the Bharath Institute Of Higher Education & Research to provide excellent medical education.
From 2009 – 10 onwards, the college started Postgraduate courses with an annual intake of 60 seats in various broad specialties. Presently, it has permission for an annual intake of 250 admissions per year for an undergraduate course (M.B.B.S) and 163 seats in various postgraduate and Superspeciality courses (M.D/M.S/DM) per year.
Sree Balaji Medical College is affiliated with Bharath Institute of Higher Education & Research (Deemed Univ.), Chennai.
The college and hospital complex has been spread over 30.89 acres with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The campus building has well-furnished departments, classrooms, and separate quarters for staff and nurses.

Eligibility Criteria
