BHMS full form is Bachelor in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery(BHMS). It is an academic degree course at the bachelor’s level, covering knowledge regarding the homeopathic medical system.
Duration for this course generally varies from 4 to 5 years and also bears internship facilities of 1 year. You are eligible to become a doctor in the homeopathic medical field after completing this degree. You know this degree holder is eligible to have the prefix as a doctor. Candidates need to qualify entrance exams, such as NEET, KEAM, PUCET, IPU CET, etc, for taking admission to this course. One more thing, before sitting for the entrance, candidates need to meet certain eligibility prescribed by the governing authority. We call Homeopathy enhancing the natural healing power of the human body. Due to its self-healing power, the concept of homeopathy is that the body rejuvenates itself.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR BHMS ADMISSION IN INDIA
Below is the eligibility criteria mentioned that should be followed to study BHMS In India :-

Mandatory subjects in 12 are Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). Students need to score a minimum aggregate of 50% at both Higher & Senior Secondary levels (classes 10th & 12th), and at the level of graduation.

The student must have to score at least 50% in English.

The age limit is 20 years for the General category and 24 years for the reserved category for the BHMS program.

As we know through the entrance exam admission to various BHMS institutes is done. Students need to clear different entrance exams conducted at the national level and state level.
