PUNJAB MBBS ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA – HIGHLIGHTS

After you have cleared the entrance exam, you have to take part in counseling. The counseling procedure is as follows:

The Educational Qualification of the students is Class 12th or equivalent.
Lower Age Limit of the students : As required for NEET-UG 2021 (17 years)
The Upper Age Limit of the applicant is: As required for NEET-UG 2021 (25 years)
Students Domicile Domicile of Punjab: Qualifying Entrance Examination
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) scores 2021 Percentile in the qualifying examination of the students is:-50%, if the candidate belongs to the General category.
45% if the candidate belongs to the General – PH category
40% if the candidate belongs to the SC/ST/OBC category
40% if the candidate belongs to the SC/ST/OBC – PH category

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA-

The studnts should have passed NEET and crossed std. 12th with a whole of 50% in all topics.
The minimum age for getting admission is 17-year old and no age limit for maximum.
Studnets must have done their secondary and higher secondary education from Punjab only.

ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE

After the declration of Punjab MBBS result the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences releases a list of qualified students. Selected studnets are allotted seats as per their merits and studnets should download their documents from the website. The students are given a particular place and time for the further process of counseling. As per their merits they get the colleges.
