Trichy SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre was established in 2009 as a unit of the SRM group of educational Institutions. The medical institute is affiliated with The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai and has got permission to increase seats from 150 to 250 by NMC for 2022-23.
Today the institution is attached to Trichy SRM Medical College Hospital. It is a multi-speciality centre and a 720 bedded hospital that caters to patients from neighbouring villages and Trichy city.
Presently, the college is offering MBBS and MD courses in various specialisations. Besides that, the college is dedicated to creating competent and socially responsible health care and providing students with a successful academic and social life.

Eligibility Criteria

Admission procedure
Step 1: Candidates are required to register for the NEET UG exam at https://ugreg22.tnmedicalonline.co.in/mbbs22/ and qualify for the exam.
Step 2: After qualifying NEET, candidates need to participate in the common counselling by the Directorate General of Health Services/ Medical Counselling Committee (DGHS/MCC) to get the allotment letter given for admission.
Step 3: Candidates selected for admission at Trichy SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre should report along with original certificates and Demand Draft for the prescribed tuition fee and other fees to get the admission confirmation letter.
