Overview

Bachelor of Physiotherapy or BPT is 4 years and 6 months course for aspirants after their 10+2 education. The course has gained popularity over the years given the curing science of treating any disease or injury in the muscles and skeleton that impacts the physical movements of the human body. Physiotherapy has been very popular in treating critical patient cases with acute paralysis, arthritis, post-amputation pains, and asthma.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission for Bachelor of Physiotherapy

1. The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks with science as a primary subject from a recognized board.
2. Selection Criteria: Final Selection of the candidate to proceed with counseling is based on entrance exams like KCET, CET, JIPMER, and more.
3. Minimum age: 17 years as of 31st December 2022.

1. Check for your eligibility for BPT in your respective college and apply online. The candidate has to update the needed documents and detailed academic and personal information.
2. It is suggested to check if the college is registered under the Indian Association of Physiotherapists as well as the sectional cut-off before applying.

Future Scope

After completion the candidate also opt for Post Graduation degree including a Master in Physiotherapy (MPT) in several socializations, MBA in Healthcare Management or PG Diploma in Physiotherapy and Nutrition, etc.
