🔹 What is MD/MS Ayurveda? 

MD (Ayurveda) and MS (Ayurveda) are postgraduate degree programs in Ayurvedic medicine, focusing on specialized fields of Ayurveda. These degrees are pursued after completing a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree. 

• MD Ayurveda involves advanced studies in Ayurvedic medicine and various therapies related to internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, etc. 
• MS Ayurveda primarily focuses on surgical branches like Shalya Tantra (General Surgery), Shalakya Tantra (ENT and Ophthalmology), etc.

Educational Qualification  Must have completed BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized medical college/university 

Minimum Marks  Minimum 50% aggregate marks in BAMS 

Entrance Exam  Must qualify AIAPGET (All India Ayurveda Post Graduate Entrance Test) or state-level Ayurvedic entrance exams 

Internship  Completion of 1-year mandatory internship after BAMS 

Age Limit  No upper age limit for most institutions, but some institutes may have age restrictions for specific specialties
