🔹 What is MD/MS? 

MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery) are postgraduate degree programs in medical sciences. These programs specialize in the fields of medicine and surgery respectively. They are pursued after completing an MBBS degree. 

• MD focuses on specialization in medical fields like internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, etc. 
• MS focuses on surgical specialties like general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, etc.

Educational Qualification  Must have completed MBBS from a recognized medical college/university 

Minimum Marks  Minimum 50% in MBBS (aggregate of theory and practicals) 

Entrance Exam  Must qualify a National level entrance exam (NEET-PG) or institutional exams (varies by institution) 

Internship  Completion of a 1-year mandatory internship after MBBS

📋 MD/MS Course Criteria

Attendance  Minimum 75% in theory and 80% in clinical/practical sessions
